Sim Kamara

Sorie Ibrahim Mohamed Kamara is the Circuit Committee Secretary and a Circuit Steward. Popularly called Sim he retired from the Merchant Navy as a Captain Master Mariner (Unlimited) in November 2016. He joined the Newham Circuit Leadership Team in September 2019 after taking over from Sue Jex who was the Meetings Secretary. He worships in Keir Hardie Methodist Church where he assists with various financial and administrative duties. He completed the Growing London Leaders Course and the Encounter Course both organised by the Connexional Learning Development Team and is currently being coached by Sally Rush in continuation of the Encounter Course.
