High Street South Methodist Church (HSS) is a member of Newham Circuit Methodist churches. The church is a multicultural congregation from young to old all over the world and welcomes everyone to be part of the family.
High Street South original church building dates from 1872 and was redeveloped and reopened in February 2007. The church history can be found on the website: www.hssmethodist.org.uk
Due to the unprecedented times both for people and society, the church is currently closed and all of the activities are virtual on Zoom.
Family worship is every Sunday at 11:00AM.
The building is also used by other Churches in the community and for special functions throughout the year such as weddings, baptism, funerals and birthdays parties. The premises are available for hire when not in use.

HSS Methodist Church is involved in helping the needy in the community and collect donations for the local foodbank and homeless people. The church also visit Manor Farm Care Home to connect with our elderly community. We have pastoral care leads who keep in touch with the congregation.
