Handineti Mutete is retired after serving in various Local Governments starting as SO2 and the NHS, and finished as PO8 in Local Government having had her B.A. Sociology followed by post graduate Diploma in Personnel Management, then the M.A. in Personnel Management. She had worked for the NHS prior to joining Local Government service and did return to the NHS as a Nurse Practitioner and Prescriber till retirement. Nety joined Pilgrims Way Church in 1988 and Newham Circuit as a Circuit Steward in 2014 later taking up the responsibility of Senior Circuit Steward. She graciously accepted the property steward responsibility of Central Park Road manse after the incumbent retired in 2016, in addition to her demanding duties. She still worships in Pilgrims Way Congregational and Methodist Church.
Being a Circuit Steward I am responsible with the Superintendent and Circuit Leadership Team for the spiritual and material well-being of the Circuit, and for upholding and acting upon the decisions of the Circuit Meetings. The Circuit Stewards are the Treasurers of the Circuit and are to be involved with all the churches' financial teams in collecting the assessments determined in the Circuit Meetings together with other administrative and pastoral duties.
